How can I download an eBook?

Answer

DiPietro library has  a variety of different eBooks that are accessible to you. These include academic eBooks provided through EBSCO, Access Medicine, and others.

You can limit results to just current eBook databases on the A-Z Database page.

The link listed below provides video tutorials and instructions on how to download different types of eBooks to a variety of different devices.

Just like books on our shelves, most eBooks need to be "checked out" if you want to access the entire text.  This process may differ from platform to platform.  Please contact the DiPietro Library if you are having trouble downloading books.

Books on the EBSCO and Gale platforms enable you to download a section of the book as a PDF document without actually checking out the book and downloading it to a device. Instructions on creating a PDF from an eBook are also provided in the link below.
